About Chris Wherry
Chris Wherry was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. At the age of 11, Chris fell in love with the sport of road cycling. His passion for the sport quickly grew and ultimately evolved into a 13-year career as a top professional cyclist. Chris had several notable achievements during his career, the most momentous of which took place in 2005 when he won the U.S. Professional Road Cycling Championships. That same year, after rediscovering the lifestyle in Southwest Colorado, Chris moved to Durango CO. Following his departure from racing in 2009, Chris became a team director and spent two years traveling the world with one of the top professional cycling teams before he found his second passion – selling real estate with his wife, Melissa.
